China’s aid to Pakistani flood relief materials has been put into use.

  Xinhua News Agency, Islamabad, September 7 (Reporter Chao Jiang) An official from Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan said on the 6th that China’s flood relief materials for Pakistan have been put into use in the disaster-stricken areas in the province.

  Faisal Naseem, director of the Disaster Management Bureau of Balochistan Province, thanked China for its aid to relief materials in a telephone interview with Xinhua News Agency on the same day. He said that the disaster relief tents aided by China are very practical and vital to the disaster relief work in the province. Some tents distributed by Pakistan National Disaster Management Bureau to Baluchistan Province have been delivered to several disaster-stricken areas in this province, such as Jafarabad, to resettle the victims and set up temporary medical camps in the disaster-stricken areas.

  According to data released by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Bureau on the 5th, more than 9 million people in 32 administrative regions of Balochistan Province have been affected by various disasters caused by heavy rainfall.

  Up to now, several flights of China aircraft have delivered humanitarian aid to Pakistan for flood fighting and disaster relief.
