At the end of this precipitation process, there will be a large-scale and persistent high temperature weather in Henan Province. From 5 to 10 days, the subtropical high is stable in the Yangtze River basin, and Henan Province is controlled by the mainland high-pressure ridge, with sunny weather and low humidity, which is conducive to radiation warming, and the ground here will be controlled by a strong heating mass. Therefore, from 5 to 10 days, there will be a continuous high temperature weather process of 36 to 38℃ in the north central part of Henan Province and 39 to 41℃ in some northern counties and cities.
Gu Xiujie said that this high-temperature weather lasts for a long time and has great intensity. Please try to avoid outdoor activities during high-temperature periods, remind outdoor workers to do a good job in heatstroke prevention and cooling, and remind relevant departments to pay attention to prevent fires caused by excessive electricity consumption and excessive power load.
With regard to the impact of high temperature weather, Fangfang Wei, a senior engineer of Henan Meteorological Service Center, made a relevant prompt on the same day, saying that the north-central part of Henan Province will be controlled by dry heat for nearly a week from May 5 to 10, and if the outdoor sunlight is strong, the somatosensory temperature will reach or exceed 50℃. In this weather, if you are exposed to high temperature for a long time or do more intense physical labor, it will cause the disorder of body temperature regulation, leading to heatstroke and even heat stroke. Therefore, it is recommended that the public minimize outdoor activities from 10 am to 4 pm, especially the elderly, pregnant women and people with cardiovascular diseases, and strengthen protection.

Usually, when the solar radiation is strong and the temperature reaches about 40℃, the road surface temperature can rise to 70 degrees, and the gas inside the tire expands with heat and contracts with cold.
